Most Republicans that currently support Newt Gingrich simply don't know enough about his beliefs or positions beyond his most recent soundbites. Gingrich has a long history of advocating progressive policies. The more Republicans learn about Gingrich, the more they will be disappointed.

What? Saying that you like White people is not a racist remark. I don't know why Breitbart would even write that in their headline and continue to assert that in the description. The anti-White left has really poisoned the well if liking White people has become unacceptable to conservatives. There's nothing wrong with being White or liking White people. I like White people. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I think that guy is part of Captain America's new multi-cultural, multi-national team, which I don't think is part of the comics. Just looking at the picture, I'm guessing there's a Scotsman, a Japanese guy, an Italian, a Frenchman, and an African-American. I think John Nolte is underestimating the leftist slant that Hollywood has put on this.

Ah yes, Schoolhouse Rocks were some of the best things ever created for children. I still have so many memories of watching these in between Saturday morning cartoons. Cartoons and music with the explicit goal of educating children and they worked. And let's not forget their great PSAs as well, like. "Beans and Rice" and "Don't Drown Your Food." Teaching good eating habits as well.

And these weren't put out by the govt. either. These were sponsored by major corporations.

This article is only partly correct. It's true that LBJ's Great Society has been one of the prime factors involved in destroying the Black community, but it's not the only one. First of all, no other group, matched for levels of illiteracy or poverty, has as high a crime rate as Black Americans. Hispanics, for instance, have a higher rate of poverty than Blacks, yet a lower crime rate overall. Poor war refugees from southeast Asia have a lower crime than poverty stricken Blacks.

The problem starts with Blacks themselves, for the only true person to blame for a criminal act is the criminal himself. And if you accept that a criminal, any criminal, is more immoral than a non-criminal, then you have to accept that Blacks, as a group, are more immoral than any other group. And the only people that can fix that problem are Blacks themselves.

Oh if only those Black Ants were more like those Chinese Ants - hardworking and law abiding, then maybe America would be competitive again.

This is one of the few reports from a Western source that seems to grasp the demographic issues involved in Thailand. The Red Shirts are often framed as a pro democracy movement, fighting for their rights, but it's much more complicated than that. The central Thais pay the majority of taxes and they resented the social programs that Thaksin implemented to help the rural poor. Of course since most of Thailand is rural poor, he became the most popular PM in Thai history. Much in the same way that the Democrats in America buy the minority vote with their support for social programs, Thaksin bought the votes of the majority in the same way.

The Yellow Shirts are often framed as the elite group that tries to suppress the majority, but it needs to be understood that they are much like the Tea Party in America in that they want restrictions on the government's ability to tax them to death. Try to imagine that the United States was only 20 percent Republican and 80 percent Democrat, and the Democrats used their sheer numbers to redistribute wealth from that 20 percent of America to the other 80, then you can start to understand the some of the reasons behind Thailand's political issues.

While I'm not a fan of restrictive laws, I do respect the tenth amendment and the ability for states to have laws in place that reflect the will of the populace. That's what states' rights are all about. Some states will be more liberal; some states will be more conservative. That's part of the beauty of the Constitution.

It's not just economic Marxism that's the problem in America. Cultural Marxism is the cancer that's destroying us by eroding the American ideal of exceptionalism. We have equal rights. That doesn't mean that we are all equal. Some persons are smarter, harder working and more creative than others and those persons should be rewarded for their contributions to society. In the cultural Marxist mindset that Obama and the other leftists promote, we are all special and to even recognize the gifts of others is wrong as it shines the light of inadequacy on the inept. We can't have a functioning country when we constantly lower standards to "uplift" the downtrodden.

Once the government shuts down, then prepare for riots in the streets. If anyone thinks that all the parasites are going to go without a fight, then they haven't been paying attention to Europe. But unlike Europe, our parasitic class is much more violent. Once those welfare checks stop coming, it'll be New Orleans after Katrina. Ger ready.
