Jon was born and raised in central Illinois amongst a flat sea of corn and soy beans. Somehow he managed to give it all up and move to the scenic, mountainous land of Colorado where he is the co-founder, mastermind, and code monkey of IntenseDebate. His ideal brain food consists of bacon, chicken strips, and steak - with the occasional BBQ on special occasions.

Michael Koenig

Michael has seen Big Trouble In Little China more times than anyone ever should. While he secretly wanted to be a kung fu master, he opted for less violent alternatives and picked up a bass guitar and set of skis instead. Originally from Michigan, Michael moved to Boulder, Colorado where he received his BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado. He joined the crew at IntenseDebate in March of 2008 and has perfected e-kung fu for all things comment related.

Beau Lebens

Beau has been developing stuff online for 10 years now, and about 4 of those years have included extensive experience working with WordPress. He's joined the IntenseDebate team to keep working on the integration between these 2 leading platforms and to help push things forward. Now living in San Francisco, Beau is from Australia orignally (and still speaks with a funny accent), but hopes you won't hold that against him.
