And if you are reading this NewMark Merrill...we'd like a new theater please.
We missed out on an opportunity for so much more income at the mall when Oskar Blues opened up across the street and drew tons of out of towners there. The appeal of a newer theater probably would have grabbed those who love to go to a movie and then grab a local brew.

If Obama's American Jobs Act, which would be funded in part by raising taxes on wealthier Americans and corporations, caused his employer to let him go, then I'd be more sympathetic to him. But, instead he's biting the hand that helps to feed him.

Why isn't he instead self employed? Because our current government makes it difficult to be a small business owner. Where are the protests fighting for them? Why is it instead about class warfare and the guy behind the Wizard of Oz curtain. This is from a friend of mine who owns a small business (one employee), as a first-hand account of how insanely expensive it is to hire just one person, at least for a small business - this could be a clue, oh mighty government, as to why jobs are not returning to our economy.

"Why are american small business and heck even big business failing..well I can tell you..I just did my quarterly taxes and the gross wages paid were $7308.00 and the payroll taxes I had to pay on top of that were $3602.70..how crazy is that?? so basically whatever Im paying a guy im paying half his wage again in taxes..so if you wondered why your boss can't give you a raise this is why our employee won't be getting one OMG and might not have a job soon."
