Really interesting. I wonder if the even MORE libertarian viewpoint would be that in a free market, we would choose not to buy from companies who didn't list their ingredients and have them verified through an independent "FDA"-ish agency?

Paul, I think it would be more subconscious than that. You would justify it somehow. A la "lesser of two evils" compromise.

That's seriously what it is. I just can't stand the idea of having to look at him for 4 years. Hollywood hotness has ruined me for all others.

The Supreme Court's initial arguments of Obamacare has made me wonder about that, Wes. Because I can see where many libertarians (including myself) see no substantive difference between Romney and Obama. But, if (and it's a big "if") a vote for Romney is the only shot at preventing the implementation of Obamacare, and all else being equal, some might see a moral need for a Romney vote.

So, if the court strikes down Obamacare as unconstitutional ahead of time, libertarians could vote Johnson, and feel good about themselves?

That is roughly the same argument I attempted to give. Perhaps the message was hidden under my poor attempt at making it poetic.

Ok, here's a legitimate question. From a purely bottom line standpoint, despite his economic beliefs, wouldn't a non-interventionist Huntsman actually be MORE "fiscally conservative" than any non-Paul republican?
