I always had the exact opposite experience. Every time I used Clear I was like "why?". The premier line is just as short. Maybe it's the different cities we go to. For me it's Boston, SF, LGA, Den, and that's pretty much it. Those cities just never seem to have a premier line longer than a few people. i had clear for a year, and in my estimation, it cost me time (filling out the applications two step process, etc). i also couldn't use it when i was traveling with someone else since they didn't have it. granted, you travel way more than me, but i won't miss it a bit personally.

I just got a Mac Mini and am running Boxee on it - it's fantastic. I can't imagine getting rid of cable yet though - mainly because of the on demand stuff for the kids!

I had the exact same "sticky plug" experience, now that you mention it. Had forgotten about it figuring it was just an early manufacturing glitch (which i'm sure it will turn out to be)

i'd settle for just apple machines for now.

we're not to cloud based yet, because it would be too slow the load everything over the remote connection. so that's why you need what is essentially a portable drive for now.

I started playing with a non-face avatar a few weeks ago (it's a drawing of me that i think evokes me pretty well). i can't seem to find a good real photo of me. i got two "i like that" and no negative ones. ;-)
