Very interesting this all fell into place after the father, and abuser, died. Perhaps it was a higher force that wanted to make this sister whole again. Wishing them many happy years ahead.
I hope there is a long prison sentence for this scumbag husband. What a sicko, selfish and cruel man she married! I am glad the two men were not shot but I do hope they are charged for assault and get some hefty jail time. They are stupid beyond belief. They should have called authorities when they read the ad.
I do't think she can survive her job. She is taking away from the campaign and McKenna is in a tight race and doesn't need the diversion and time explaining . . . perhaps she learned lesson . . . Ehl is a negative at this time.
Emmert's future as head of the NCAA is really at stake just as he begins his new position and career direction. The country is watching. Does he have the backbone to do what is really right? Penn State should be banned from football for at least 5 years, the current players offered positions at other schools and not make them sit out a year. It will be hard on the current and incoming players but let them sue the school and Paterno's estate to make up for lost scholarship money and future earnings.
I won't be considering Ruderman. With a bulldog mother like good old Margaret who wants the daughter in office? Can the daughter even stand on her own two feet? Ruderman is going to be too busy getting mental health help for her mother to serve in office.
So very sad. I guess I always wonder why people hike alone. I feel strongly when you have family, young children, you must take all necessary precautions and not take risks. RIP and may your wife and daughter find comfort knowing you died doing what you loved.
You sling the junk stuff when you have nothing else to toss out there. I am hoping it is like a boomerang and heads back to Inslee. We don't need Inslee heading our state. He is the wrong man at that wrong time in the wrong state for the wrong reasons.
The Seattle case did not settle easily. The PD kept that family out of the house for a very long time and repairs did not happen without the adult female of the house pushing to get the work done. The city kept dragging its feet and I am not sure that it is even fully restored today. In the meantime the family was displaced and trying to survive the horrible ordeal and rebuilt their lives.
Hopefully an attorney will do a pro bono or contingency case asking for attorney fees.
Send him east . . . Seattle does not need a mayor draped in secrecy as taxpayer's money is spent. If I was on the council I would be furious. Along with a new stadium and huge sums spent to mark bike lanes all over the city McGinn has not done the job he was elected to do.
