Well I guess we could call this the "weeding" period of the season. Did we drop 10 points below Madrid? Yes. Have we looked out of form for the last 2 or 3 games? Yes. But should this change anything to any of the Culés who have been, and will be with this team for many years to come? No, not at all. Barça is still being recognized as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, teams to play the game and a few league losses that strain our chances of bringing home the domestic title should not change any opinion or concerns for the true fans among us. This team is capable of the moon and beyond, a few pitiful losses only act as reminders to both the team and fans that this era of Barça fútbol is not something you see everyday and it truly is beautiful. Stay strong loyal Culés, these losses are nothing that we haven't witnessed before and, yet, will imminently see again. VISCA BARÇA!

Great result, and equally needed to continue the chase for the La Liga title this year. It did seem a little grim at first as our defense got a feel for veteran Van Nistelrooy but with the big saves by Valdes, the game seemed to get the spark that it needed to turn around and get an attacking feel to it. If we continue to play like this against teams, Madrid will slip up. They have the tendency and history of getting too comfortable with the hint of power that is given to them every season. It will be a tough remainder of the season, but Messi and the crew are just giving us a peek at what the world's greatest team is capable of doing. As always, Visca Barça!

His assist to Abi was inspirational on so many levels. I had to rewind it multiple times just to see the surprise and stunned look that the Madrid's back 7 had after the ball was dropped to him. Ray Hudson calls Xavi "Chameleon Eyes" for his pitch awareness and incredible passing ability, and I think after that display from Leo he deserves a nickname too! Any suggestions?

Alexis deserves every ounce of compliment that Pep addressed in the post game conference. To be 22 and a foreigner to the Barça style of play and La Liga, he sure makes it look easy. Him and Cesc are only going to add depth and positivity to our squad for the future.

His tackle on Conentrão on the left-flank sideline towards the 70th minute was text book. Perfect timing and perfect form.

Great game by Sergio. Posed a very arguable claim that he is currently the best CDM in Spain and the world. He can only improve from here.

Honestly, I think that this is a great fit for Maxwell. Though his skills were good enough to compete against King Abi, I think that he can really make a difference for PSG. All the best to him and his future competitions in Paris, and thank god we got rid of Mino Raiola!

Terrible luck on this one. Hoping that this does not effect his career and future with Barça. Though he's still young and a little green, he has great potential. Anims Fontas!
