I just want to say that I made 'perfect' caramel to top my apple cake tonight. First time ever. I'm very proud.

On the other hand, I have 5 baskets of clean (and now wrinkled) clothing hiding in the closet because I couldn't find time to fold it and company is coming. Not quite as proud of this one.

All in all? A good week. Busy. But good.

I agree with Brian! We started teaching our boys to cook & clean at a young age. They all love to cook. Since my hub is the primary cook at our house, my guys never thought that was unusual. Now, to work on the 'take care of yourself" part...

I'm a big grits lover, myself!
In summer, we have veggie only meals on CSA pick up day. Grilled veggies, salad, raw veggies, you name it , we eat it. It's my favorite day of the week!
