Now that we have iOS 5 on Apple TV, sadly BlueTooth support has not materialsed in any of the menus. Even if it's on the chipset it's not for us to play with.

Hi Kelly,

first of all: I think you've done a great job tweaking the theme - your site looks very simplistic and clean. I'll be no problem getting that blog part up and running too. And here's how:

First create a new page that shall host your blog. We'll call it "blog" for this example. Leave it blank, then hit Publish.

Next have a look under Settings - Reading. This will allow you to select which page will display your front page, and which one will display your blog posts. For the latter option, choose your new "blog" page from the dropdown and hit save.

Now what's the URL to that new blog page? The answer depends on how your Permalinks are setup. I've had a quick check on your site and it looks like you're using the default "ugly" structure. That's to say pages and posts are addressed by their post id like this: http://kellycreedon.com/?page_id=312. You can change this to something more meaningful like http://kellycreedon.com/gallery etc. under Settings - Permalinks. We'll leave it as it is for now as you can update the Permalink Structure later.

Go back to your Pages and hover over some of your page titles here. See the number at the bottom of your web browser change? This shows you the Post ID of each page. Hover over your "blog" page and remember the number. Say it's 47, then the URL to your blog is http://kellycreedon.com/?page_id=47.

Hope this all makes sense - and good luck ;-)

Hi Cristina,

I *think* (but am not 100% sure) that the Holga 135BC and the Holga Fisheye are two very different cameras. I looked at the fisheye version at The Photographer's Gallery once but decided in favour of the 135 BC. The fisheye is on my wishlist though. I'd say go with the 135BC or the 135, simply because it will allow you to use other Holga accessories (like the filter set, fisheye adaptor, close-up lenses, etc).

And they come in various funky colours to choose from ;-)

Good luck, and share some of your pictures when they're ready. All the best, and have lots of fun!

Oh dear, that sounds serious!

How is the flash doing on other cameras? If it fires OK, you may have a problem with your hotshoe. Have you got another flash you can test with your Golden Half? It may well be the flash unit.

If you are using a professional Canon or Nikon flash, those have more than one contact at the bottom - see if those are aligned correctly on the Golden Half hotshoe. I use mine with a Holga 12 MFC flash which works fine.

Hi ashtray,

I found that they got in via my FTP password. God only knows how they got that, but I traced this back - this is the only way in to change or upload files. My advice is to change your FTP password regularly and use something like Strong Password Generator to create a really long code nobody can hack. Change it every month for safe measure.

I also found that a host intrusion system is great for banning the IP address of hackers there and then after 10 hack attempts. I use OSSEC HIDS which seems to work wonders. I protect all my hosting clients like that now and haven't had any problems since.

Hi Katherine,

the Sepia effect comes from Photoshop Lightroom - that's what I use to deal with my thousands of photos. It offers the option to tint a batch of photos, and I thought it was pretty. I like plain black and white too, but the "aged photo effect" really lends itself to the grainy quality of thoe Golden Half shots.

Have fun with your new Holga ;-)
