Lovely post. Come visit me on my site, I'm an Autism Mom, too. 8 year old son. Someone on the wonderful Facebook community page "You know you have a child with autism when...." posted a picture of their kid wearing a T-shirt that reads "I have Autism, so please be nice to my Mom" and I thought YES!

OK I now feel so lame about sending Ethan to real camp where I drop him off every day instead of being creative and family oriented and doing "camp mom". Then again Jake has summer school until 3 PM every day until August 13th, AND all his friends are in camp so he'd have no one to play with, so maybe I'm off the hook. And oh, yeah, I have my elderly Mom to take care of too (who is so beyond cooking now, sigh) so now I'm really off the hook. Can't wait to see you in August at BlogHer.
