Many bloggers consistently insist to be treated on the same level as journalists, no? To the best of my knowledge, most journalists are required to refuse monetary compensation for coverage...in fact, they're not supposed to accept ANY kind of compensation beyond a product tester (which in many cases they return after the trial). Why on earth would a blogger, claiming the same journalistic integrity, expect a pay-off for a positive post? In fact, I would think that many bloggers would be offended at the offer.
