Favorite video FTL moment...
I was in 10th grade and hanging out at Disneyland with a bunch of friends. I had purchased a ton of souvenirs for myself and had them in a bag between my feet as I played 1941 (loved that game)...

I was so into the game that I did not notice that someone came up behind me and stole my bag-o-goodness. I finally lost and was like WTF...

That is when I knew I had a problem.

I just got my Adam (http://oldcomputers.net/adam.html) computer and purchased my first video game for the machine--Buck Rogers.

I played one game for 6 hours and turned the game over nearly 20 times I think. No pause button back in those days. I finally lost on purpose because I had to piss. That. Was. Awesome.
