I went to a Hanson concert on Thursday, wearing my hair completely in braids and bright green cons (with shorts on). Does that count? :D

In my past, they are accepting of them like everyone else. It's why I've always avoided the Limbaugh-obsessed peeps.

I wasn't raised Christian, so when I was younger I had the commonplace-but-wrong thought that all Chrissies were crazy for the Rapture. I couldn't take even the nicest people seriously, because I thought they were all like those folks who were training their congregation to jump in sequence. You know, so everyone could get into the Rapture Hole at once.

Didja think about the fact that, with the exception of the oil issue, those things have been happening for years and years. Some theorize volcanoes are what G-d used to help separate the sea for Moses. Booyah.

Best. Ever.

I live in Wisconsin. Pretty much everyone above the age of 30-35 will not care if you say anything Christian-y. In most cases, you'll get more respect from it. But anyone under 30 will cause all kinds of commotion if you say the same things around them. Teenagers around here get cocky and want to be "atheist" because it's "cool." And then, once they hit college, they have a whole new type of arrogance. /shakes head. I would LOVE to spend some time in the south, if it weren't for the heat. WI summers are regularly 80-90 degrees, and I'm okay with that!

If I couldn't snuggle with my man, I would lose my mind. It is not a sexual thing at all, it is an intimacy thing. We are very close and try to live as if we are married (in day-to-day actions). We hope to get married soon, but we're waiting for a more comfortable financial situation.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that DC Talk song is creepy and gross? Maybe I'm crazy, yo.

Personally, I have about a cup of coffee a day... Maybe I'll go a day without, then a day with two cups. Most of the time, it's black or with a little non-dairy creamer, but I do indulge in a crunked-up drank from Starbucks (haha) once a week or so. I don't think I depend on coffee, but I once did. I think it really does boil down to that. Someone above mentioned that it is when we put something else above G-d-- look toward that other thing for comfort, protection, and saving-- when we have a problem to face.

I do not need caffeine. In fact, it doesn't seem to be working much for me anymore, and I'm way too young for that to be happening!! But I digress... I do not need caffeine. I need G-d, nothing more or less.
