The suit in the Burton film (like the car and the gadgets and the scenery) were great but it was his performance in the suit that defined Batman for me. Keaton's Batman will always be Batman, more so than even the comic books. That may be wrong in fanboys eyes and in no way is a judgment on Bale or Kilmer (both who I think did a good job), but Keaton made the mark and it still imprinted on the character.

Some say Nolan's films are intellectual. I say far from it. His work is elitist puffery. The sort of film that critics drool over, because of its so called high-minded concepts, and claiming its superiority to other films without a second thought. Critics react to Nolan the way journalist once reacted to Obama; with a thrill up the leg.
Example: Dark Knight was about a hero not crossing an imaginary line between justice and vengeance/ order and chaos but it stressed the dilemma so much I found it unreasonable. Also the idea of a sociopathic killer playing a morality game with the hero is copied from David Fincher's Seven. In any form I disagree with the liberal concept. God knows the difference between sinners. A guy is shooting up half the city, and killed your girl friend; putting the jerk in the grave doesn't make you a monster like him. How stupid was Nolan's Batman that he played the game on the Joker's rules? One is an act of murder the other justice. However people lacking in common sense, faith in a forgiving God, or courage have a hard time distinguishing the difference between good and bad in the world.
I could be wrong about Inception but I'm not wrong about his past films (at least as far as I'm concerned) so I'll wait until it comes on TV.

"Replace that fear and stuff"
"Ah yeah what she said."
LOL It is after all comedy because these fools believe the stink off of their own sh*t actually smells good.
But this is Hollywood folks. Now don't tell me you didn't go see Toy Story 3 not thinking about all those recent fabulous comments made by Tom Hanks about mormons, conservatives, and U.S. soldiers in the Pacific. I think according to Tom Hanks we're all beautiful people to him when we pay him money but then once we leave the theater...Americans at least...we're all racist monsters. Not to mention it featured a host of liberals in its cast including Whoopi Goldberg. Stop to think about it the whole summer movie season is just one big ongoing Democrat convention.
So you have but two things to do. I know these choices sort of suck BUT it is what it is.
1. You can stop going to movies. Stop renting movies. Stop feeding the institution that is in fact a giant one eyed (of course the eye is on its left side...ha ha) cyclops that loves to stomp on all it hates about the American way of life. You may not have to starve it to death but certainly until it learns who its master is...or at least in a large part is.
2. Just go see the movie as you've seen all others. No sense in getting upset now over stupid egotistical actors spouting out of their mouth liberal diarrhea. (Apparently that what happens when you kiss the ass of Obama, Clinton, Pelosi...etc). If you're not going to do anything about it there is little sense in getting upset about it. Seriously its not just actors, its tech companies (Apple, Google, Yahoo, MSN) with their liberal agendas, its even liberal scourges who Democrats supposedly hate but pocket a lot of money from. Scourges like BP (who Leo can't understand their warped mind) who supported Obama's cap and trade policy and has signed deals with this government. Its also even extends as far as media outlets like FOX News who act to be conservative but in fact simply profits from conservative personalities but their news divisions despite initial appearances tow a moderate to liberal line. (Example Fox radio was broadcasting blurb in between commercials about "Going Green.") Its a mess. America is held hostage by an elitist class. Either do something about it or do your best to ignore it. But for the love of God don't continued to be surprised by it!

As for gay marriage being the new cause and interracial marriage being the old cause you'll have to ask Hollywood about that. In the 60's and 70's Hollywood often paired up interracial couples or showed movies showing the troubles of interracial couples. Though I'm certain there were troubles for mixed couples Hollywood never did anything to really help it. Films on the subject was always skewed to guilt people, to make the older generation appear racist and that America is nothing but an evil racist empire run by white people. Especially if the film took place in the south. Well now a days interracial marriages is no longer a big deal anymore. Why a conservative supreme court judge is married to a white woman. So Hollywood lost their little hot button issue to push the envelope, to enrage passions, to sensationalize or draw attention to itself. Along came the gay issue in the 80's and nineties to replace it and now we have the gay marriage issue. Only thing different black and white its a race issue. According to mainstream religion, there is no sin in being any race. Its just the way you're born. Yet many people actually believe homosexuality is a wrongful and willful act and therefore it is sin. So marriage is suppose to be something sacred and people take offense that gays are redefining marriage as something other than a holy bond between man and woman. Now Hollywood is trying to equate homosexuality with race. Every actor (the latest Mark Ruffio) is yelling about how Prop 8 is evil and gay marriage is a right. Others claim science proves men are born to love Gucci and women are born to love really short hair cuts. I don't know really, honestly...straight, gay...keep it in the bedroom I don't care to know your private life. The marriage issue on both sides seems a little silly to me. If you want to get married get married but if Jane and John doesn't want to recognize Tom and Tim's marriage and think their queer or whatever then...hey its a free country. Likewise if Tom and Tim think Jane and John's marriage is...so last millennium then they don't have to recognize it either.
Bottom line all I am saying is that America's past is something not to be ashamed of. The south for all its faults of slavery was still a civilized society and not a dictatorship ruled by a despot like Hitler or Stalin or Chavez. Which Hollywood wants us all to become. All the left does is take the weak points in our past and tries to bring us down with it. But ask me this if this country really is so bad. If one fourth is indeed as racist as Nazi Germany why celebrate Independence day? Why celebrate one half of 13 colonies who were all slave states winning their independence from Great Britain? If you're only celebrating the so called good parts then we're not really United are we.
Oh and um just so you know Northern factories during the industrial revolution employed young immigrant children and paid them like a piece of bread. So yeah...Got to love them Yankees...They're the good guys...right???

Never mind the majority of European heritage in the middle ages worked in a feudal system as serfs themselves. Never mind black tribal leader sold their own people into slavery. Never mind Boston ships carried those slaves over to the new world. Never mind after the civil war the the north confiscated privately owned southern lands and claimed they were going to give it to the blacks. Instead the majority of the land was used for carpet baggers to live on and build businesses on. What does Obama call that...redistribution of wealth?
As for the Jim Crow laws and references to the KKK. It just proves my point that racism has flourished since the Civil War. The KKK, segregation, all came after the war and white supremacy was just not in the south. It wasn't like Lincoln magically solved racism. Gen. Sherman himself didn't believe in "equality" and was quoted as saying that if the north allowed slaves to vote he'd switched sides. Plus Lincoln didn't want the blacks to stay he wanted them shipped back to Africa...or have no one ever heard of Liberia. America has never come together as one people. We function admirably as a tolerant society but everybody equates everyone with a race. Time to get over it and stop demonizing people for a word or thought. Its what we do and not say that defines people. We've made laws that have leveled the playing field but that's exactly what society is today a playing field and not really a country of brotherly love where we all (not just soldiers) pledge our lives, our fortunes to each other in the name of liberty.

Hollywood view on racism is not nearly so well meaning as men like Washington. They exploit stereotypes while damning any of us who utter a single word that they oppose. They promote the lowest common denomination among their culture as being representative of a race and yet get angry when anyone else tell a pollock joke. Today's hollywood culture is the most debased, hypocritical and wicked culture that America has ever produced. Note how easily they have abandon old causes for new ones. Yesterday's rallies for interfaith or interracial marriages are todays million dollar functions in support of gay marriage. What will be tomorrows cause marriage between a straight man and a gender-changed woman or will we just skip to being allowed to marry the family dog. The only equality that left seeks is to have everyone rid their beliefs in God.

Still Bond is more about just one film...its about tradition, legacy, and a good time. I say long live the series and may Lohan remain out the public light forever.
