I love snowdrops, too. They look so light and fragile, yet I can count of them to be back every spring.

Perspective is right. . . .I've felt old all my life, first born,4 younger sibs and strong work ethic parents, always responsible. Now at 62, 63 this year, (my mom is 82), my body's catching up with my perspective, it's not fun. But life goes on. :)

God is.

That is something I can depend on. Even when the little doubts creep in, deep inside I know that God IS.

The Great I AM. Thank you for that reminder, even with the big doubts. Thank you.

I hope surprises are okay first thing in the morning.

My favorite wall was a red/burgundy one in a small eating area off the kitchen. for me it was daring, but I loved it. Have fun picking colors that say 'Here I Am'!

This one line really seemed to be in bold type: 'May I view all things in the mirror of eternity'. I paused how would the things I consider important appear in that mirror. Col 3:1-2 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. In that picture in the mirror where I have set things -- on the back burner, when I get around to it, or first place in my life. . .

I try to look at my thoughts this way: is this thought bringing me closer to God and His will, closer to the people of God, closer to my family or does this thought lead to separation and division, does this thought bring doubts, suspicions and questions? Paying attention to where the thought will lead helps to show me what to do with the thought. Philippians 4:8 is always a good measure of my thoughts --
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
