Agyness Deyn's an English model. Friends with the Geldof sisters (Peaches and Pixie), Alexa Chung, Henry Holland. This quirky, very English set, if that makes sense.

Oh totally, like I said, didn't mean to generalise, but this style of dress is pretty unique to Britain and yep, not for everyone..

I actually don't mind it. She looks well put together, which is more than can be said for many celebrities. The blouse collar suits her and the pattern is pretty, and the culottes are cute and on trend. The point being, that she's a model. She can work whatever outfit she likes, because that looks flattering on her body in a way that would look horrendous on many, many other people (ie, the other 99% of the population).
Another point being- her sense of style is fairly indigenous to British people. Look at Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton. I hate to sound as if I am picking on Americans, but the majority just don't get it, and wouldn't unless you actually saw how people dress around here.
So, I'm going to neutrally call a culture clash in opinions on this outfit.
