These are the seeds being planted for the " great deception" we were warned about , that would happen in the last days. They will just lump everything into the mix......the "emerging church" movement , islam , roman catholic heresy , new age teachings...... a little yeast in the bread spoils the whole thing. I always had a strange feeling about kenneth copeland after hearing his teachings years ago , and even subscribing to his "word of faith" magazine , but I always felt am instinctual sense of unease that I couldn't quite put my finger on , and I recognise it now as Gods' protection. For kenneth copeland to play the harlot , and get into bed with the vatican , and fellowship with this pagan idolator , proves he has no love of the truth. I am simultaneously stunned , but not surprised also. Its just crazy to see this all unfold in my lifetime. Be watchful and alert true brothers and sisters in Christ. Take great care to stay as close to God as its possible to get , that you be not deceived.

another meh sounding plugin i'd expect. Nice GUI , but i wouldn't buy it just for looks and judging by the description , it doesnt do anything that any other drum machine isn't doing. I'd prefer DSK minidrumz and applying the effects myself , and that is free.

Would the average listener know if a track was created by a 32 bit or 64 bit DAW ?The differences are maybe so imperceptible that dogs might not even hear it.
Besides , people like the nuances of ageing things. Thats why vinyl refuses to die. Thats why a moog rogue is so highly sought after.

Seriously , did led zeppelin have 32 bit ? Did Bowie ? Did Presley ? Music is the point. This waffle about bits is just splitting hairs.
If a tune is good , i dont care what it was made on , because i'm buying the tune , and thats the point. Music doesnt exist to serve technology. music would exist without technology., and does.

there are plenty of free vsts at KVR. Just because you buy FL , doesnt mean you absolutely must buy their synths too.
People who quibble about stupid details like this are missing the whole point.
The more time you all spend majoring on the minors , is time you'll never get to live again , so just go and enjoy what you're using now. Think of the classic music thats been made before now , and on practically any machine , with any DAW , we have a ton more processing power than they ever dreamt of , leaving us with NO EXCUSE.
My computer and my DAW may not be top of the range , but i intend to put people to shame , using my limited setup.
What i have is more powerful than a fairlight CMI , and look what the art of noise did with one of those.
We have no excuse.

rolf harris got a track into the top 40 using a stylophone. How many bits was that ?

Its the idea , not the science. How many bits did the beatles use ?
I could make music with a pocket calculator.

Its not about WHAT you use , but HOW you use it.
The average guy in the street wont care if its 32 , 64 , or 128 bit.....All he cares about is whether it produces a good tune.
Its music , not science.

I got a Launchpad yesterday , and Ive been astonished at the lack of real help / support for the product. I expected there would at the very least be a PDF manual on the install disk. When I discovered there wasnt , I headed straight for the Novation Homepage , and there were a few extrememly basic and very very short videos which didnt help in the slightest.
The reason i bought the launchpad was to use it to glitch and randomise my set on the fly as it was playing , and although from this video it certainly seems capable of doing that , I'm still unclear as to how to achieve it.
Many thanks for this tutorial , because its the only thing i've found that goes into any detail and explains HOW to actually use it. I mean , do Novation expect me or any other buyer to instinctively know how to use it without including a manual of some sort ?
Thanks again. Im now heading to the dsp project website to register as i'd like to see more of the future videos you promise as it may be the only way i'll figure it out.....no thanks to Novation
