The prices gotta compete with what we see out there now from resellers across the web. If they're not doing better than the standards $250-$275, I really don't see the incentive. People will still buy, though. Just noting that it hasn't been impossible.

Yeah, looks like I'm wrong on my numbers, too. Talked to my boy last night and he said these should retail at $209, max -- but most likely $200. Marquee's $30 shipping is out of control. I'll be patient and see what the situation is like in the Staten Island Mall. Hopefully it's as easy as getting the Pearls when they dropped last month.

Is that a promise? I found my pearls the weekend they dropped without a problem, but the Royals move fast. I don't wanna have my eyes closed when they restock.

Paying $330 (after shipping) to get these kicks from Marquee really doesn't seem all that bad considering how early we'll have them on foot. These don't drop till next spring and, when they do, they're still going to cost around $240 after taxes -- if you can actually get them before they sell out.

In other words, for about a $90 difference, I'm buying them now and not caring.

It would've been better to make a Top 7 and skip some of the stuff that no one really liked or owned. It really just felt like a countdown to the 1/2 cents and foamposite ones.

This is fantastic news.

I remember back in the day when it was a free-for-all and brands made uniforms for specific teams. One of my aunts gave me a Troy Aikman jersey for xmas when Nike did the Cowboys' jersey, and it was the best quality replica I ever owned. I had a few Champion jerseys, but the Nike jerseys were heavy, the paint for the numbers were thick, and the swoosh will always be the classic.

Reebok did a good job with the authentic jerseys, but the kings are back! And hopefully, right in time for a return to 2K sports for the NFL -- but that's for a different blog.

And don't get me started on the return to New Era. Oh, happy day!
