I am so, so terribly sorry for your loss. I'm even more sorry that you had to make such a terrible - but sadly necessary - decision; it is truly a mother's worst nightmare come true. I can't even begin to imagine the depths of your grief.

You and your family will be in our family's thoughts and prayers. There are going to be some difficult milestones ahead - be gentle with yourself, and wrap yourself in Layla's hugs, smiles, and kisses. They won't replace your loss, but they will help you bear some of the pain and get you through the hard days ♥♥♥

Ummm - ever heard of "Social Security"? Every worker in the country already HAS 6.2% of their income set aside (supposedly) in a "retirement" account. And another 6.2% in matching funds has to be deposited by their employer.

That's 12.4% of their income set aside annually for them to draw from when they retire.

THEY ALREADY HAVE "OWNERSHIP" IN THE ECONOMY - unfortunately, since the government keeps everything already paid in when people die, their heirs don't get a nice little inheritance upon which they could build a better life for themselves and their families.

I believe all American workers already HAVE a "retirement account", Mr. President - it's called "Social Security"; perhaps you've heard about it?

The government takes 6.2% of a worker's income off the top, then their employer has to match that amount.

It is set aside in an account, and when the worker turns 65 (or 62, or 70), the government graciously allows them to take out a set amount every month.

And if there is a political battle being waged, the government threatens to hold that money hostage until their demands are met.

And when the person dies, all of the money still left in that "account" (we all know it's a lie) reverts back to the government.

Theoretically, NO person should have to have an additional savings account - that was the "Security" which was promised to people back when FDR set the Ponzi scheme up.....

One wonders if Mr. Snowden is starting to have a new appreciation of the protections which living in America afford a legal citizen of this country - but only IN this country.

Perhaps he is rethinking his opinion of what a horrible place the US is.....

What sort of idiot thinks that if you disagree with a company's president's personal beliefs that you BUY THINGS from said company?

"Oooooh - I know! I'll wait in line for an hour just to get a free cup of water - THAT'LL show 'em!!!!"

Way to prove your point.
Idiot.

Dear God. Prayers to his family - as saddened as all of us are, it cannot possibly compare to what they are feeling right now. He inspired us to fight for this country that we all love so well. He will be greatly, deeply missed.
