I see the what you're saying, but delusional brothers and sisters are our siblings just the same. What happens to them... at their own hand, sure... also affects us. There isn't really an "us and them". Interconnected life. If the animals and sea and stars are our kin, certainly the monotheistic humans are, too. I don't want to see them destroy each other, just see them grow up and learn and fix their delusions and behavior. Sure, it will work itself out, in time. The natural laws ensure that. Maybe it will even hurt or destroy. But I wish to reduce suffering where possible. I love my kin. And their fights might very well splash onto me and my children. There is a place for peacemakers. Deep peacemaking is always possible. That's what love and magic are for, isn't it?

"The conservative position that heterosexual marriage is the foundation stone of society may be correct"

Yeah, no. Only in their mythology. Which has dominated for awhile, but that doesn't make it true. Which is why they couldn't provide any evidence.

It makes me think of the Amish & Mennonite communities. They're known for their old-fashioned but efficient, light-on-the-land lifestyles.

What if Pagans could be known for a similar rural living, or also a new urbanism? What if ecovillages and transition towns were populated with high percentages of Pagans? What if we were known for digging in and helping with the clean up, as well as actively participating in the creation of a new way of life?

Just today I wrote an essay about Druids (and all traditions of nature-connected wise ones) bridging the collective unconscious and the ecological unconscious, maintaining the balance of bringing the environment's wisdom to the humans, and seeing that the humans see to the health of the environment.

I think we could set an example as well as lay the groundwork for humanity. And learn a lot from the Amish and Mennonites, and similar groups. We might want to start with educating ourselves on the issues and possible solutions, as well as gathering with each other, either to live together in villages of common purpose, or at least to put our heads together and be a combined force rather than just individuals. Reclaiming sets one example. Songaia is a related work we could model.

P.S. I wanted to add urban retrofitting, because neighborhoods in big cities and suburbs are like villages anyway.

We could get into promoting green city planning and good design.

As you can see, I'm very fascinated by all of this. =)

Someone had the brilliant idea to lease solar panels... http://www.urbanfarmonline.com/sustainable-living...

But yes, the prices are coming down. Soon it will be within reach.

Also, you can search up plans for altering a vehicle to run on used cooking oil... or even water! Google away! =)

They're mistaken if they think they can extinct gay people. Surprise, surprise - some of their kids and grandkids are going to be born gay! It won't even have to be visible in school and life, it'll happen anyway! Poor fearful bigots... they're going to have to imprison/kill their own. They already have been. The suicides are on their heads, too.

Scattered camps indeed. Now we all share links to content on Facebook, and hardly talk to each other at all. Yahoo groups are ghost towns...even FB groups don't see much action, typically. I feel lonely these days. I think things are getting more isolating, whereas in the early days of the Internet, we all started thoroughly connecting.

I started on BBSes, and I'd be happy to frequent them again.
