I have a feeling that this is Xavi's year. Sure he doesn't score like Messi but he's equally as important and that World Cup, I think will give him the edge. Also, Xavi played 953 minutes without a foul! Amazing.

You can argue he's zoning into the ball and didn't notice the flag. Its very plausible. I think its a soft yellow; its loud. That was really bad strike and looking at the ref to save him, hopefully its an offside flag. Seems like he got more than he bargained for.

Im not going to lie. I dont know anything about Sanchez. Dont watch Serie A . What I have seen is Villarreal's play and Rossi is really good. He's good on the ball and make quick decisions, definite requirement to be a Barca player. That being said, Id like Rossi to stay at Villareal because I like to keep Liga competitive and if Sanchez is the quality that everyone else is saying he is, up to par with Rossi, than I choose Sanchez. He might be cheaper too?

Resting Messi, that's nearly impossible. He always wants to play even when the trophy is in the bag. Just look at him when Barca lifted the league trophy.
Its for when and if MVP is injured. I hope Kun/Rossi likes the bench (at least his first year). Pep likes to keep his starting 11 unless he has to do it.

A: Quick answer is no. MVP works. Barca needs a solid backup but not for 45mil. This is HOPING that M, V, or P wont be out for more than 3-4weeks at a time.
