What happened to USS Liberty? The 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty killed 34 American servicemen. The Israel intention was to let blame fall on Egypt. The attackers wanted a direct US and Egyptian military conflict. But, it did not work.
If the Japanese oil tanker was not harmed by a natural cause, then who would benefit from the Japanese anger?

It is very hard to part with your old identity and assume a new identity. We still have Irish, Italians, Germans, and any other nationality in USA even though many of these people have never seen the old country and are many generations away from their emigrant parents. This is what makes our nation great! Rantly, don't you think so?

What realities?
Thierry Meyssan French political analyst posted: "Strategy shift in the Middle East" and the issue of Iran position visa vie USA. The article says:"“The Iraqi chaos and the creation of a quasi-state in Kurdistan have forced neighbouring states to work together to avert a spillover effect, especially since Washington has already attempted to destabilize them all to keep them out of the Iraqi game. Thus the United States and Israel covertly supported Kurdish separatists in Turkey (PKK), those in Iran (Pejak) and those in Syria. As a result, the Iran-Syria axis has been replaced by the Iran-Syria-Turkey triangle. This new alliance enjoys a historical legitimacy without parallel." Are these analyses correct?

Washington's response often is forged by special elements of the US government bent to bring Iran on its knees begging for mercy. The proponents have had the same trenched position for many decades. It does not make any difference who governs Iran and state of democracy in the country; the objectives have been to keep Iran subservient on USA and a satellite nation. I think, it is not the Iranian nuclear fuel cycle, but it mainly is the insubordination of the Iranian governments that irks the US administrations.
