I've always wondered about this product. At first I thought it was a little overboard but how you explained it makes sense, especially if you have a preemie! Thanks for sharing your blog with me and keep writing!!

we watched that documentary too. my husband now juices every morning for breakfast. my excuse for not joining in with him is that i've got a baby due next month and need more calories. both lame and false, i know.

Love Lassi's trick shots. I think I took 2 or 3 PK's in college and they all hit the crossbar. Thanks for bringing up those memories.

My daughter's name is Adah. Everyone usually says, "oh, that was my great-grandmothers name." I got the name from the OT, Genesis to be specific. There were actually 2 diffferent Adah's, neither of great significance.

We just found out #2 is on the way. We're trying to figure out if we should go the same Bible name route or totally mix it up with name like Wolf or Hercules.(maybe a little sarcasm here).

Futuristic baby names will obviously be in stride with our obese nation:
Garlic
General Tso
Supreme

I'm not one to pour out my heart, soul or even my facetious thoughts onto friends, family, acquaintances in conversation.

However, I find it comes a lot easier via writing for me.

Writing is my creative outlet and mental release.

Well put, Wes.

What is Christianity anyways?
Probably something along the lines of "the act of following Christ."

As you mentioned the disciples it made me think about how different Christianity must have been during the time when Jesus was on earth verses today.
If Jesus has been living in today's world, the mocking, persecution and harassment would probably have been a lot worse. I don't know if He would have made it all of those 33 years he did about 2000 years ago. Today he may have been shot, in prison or maybe brought in by the CIA or FBI for questioning.

I'd like to say I would have been one of His followers (like a Dead Head) traveling from city to city, but I dont know for sure. It's just weird to think about. We've seen news stories of cults or weird leaders who have devoted followers and we look down on them, just as many looked down on Jesus. Would I believe in Him or would I write him off as a weirdo?
