Maybe they should work on a bill that insists that PRESIDENTS should be able to pass a background check!

It seems the reason for the stockpiling of arms and ammo and even emergency meals by the U.S. Government over the recent years is becoming clear now.

Part 2:

But if they really need a definition, it is something to the effect that a terrorist kills people that are, in their minds, persons who only "symbolically represent" what they think is wrong with the world, and are not perceived as particular threats to their delusions of entitlement to better their world through deadly force. Morales saw those particular people as a particular threat to his turf, so he is not acting as a terrorist. Obviously it is a bit more nuanced than this, but I think that is possible a place to start the discussion if they stupidly think that they must.

Remember when in Texas those guys strung up a man and dragged him to death behind their pickup? When GW Bush was asked why they didn't attach a "hate crime" to their charges, he responded something to the effect of, "Why? They were charged with murder, found guilty, and sentenced to death. What more could we do to them than give them the death penalty?" Exactly. And this article is right on. Murder is murder. Try the crime and allow the judge or jury to apply wisdom and consider motivations in the sentencing phase (which should be the death penalty every time unless there is some real good reason for something different).

I see the Dem's plan unfolding:

1. Clinton will "lose her memory" while testifying. So much so that it will become "obvious" that she cannot carry on in office, even to finish her term, so she will be forced to retire early. And she will "not be able" to complete her testimony. That fixes that problem.

2. Then, during the brief time that Congress is out of session during the changeover, Obama will appoint Kerry in a raw display of tyrannical power assertion. Congress will not be able to oppose this since it is an "emergency appointment" during the brief time Congress will be out of session. That fixes that problem.

The timing is key, but I'm sure they have it figured out to the hour.

Watch and learn, my little children... this is how the game is played.

Calfornicators started giving up their willingness to live free decades ago. This is just one more step towards a full relinquishing.

Wow - I used to live in Illinois, and moved away in '88, and remember that this was the law back then. I moved to NY where I can now carry concealed (but I need a permit, which was easy to get). But buying and selling guns and getting ammo was less restrictive in IL than in NY. Go figure. Good to see some judges still understand the Constitution.

I think he just wants to project the idea that he is our "eternal leader." If he had a ceremony it would give the idea that there was a break in his reign.

How about, "...to ourselves and to our posterity..."__Any one reading these words was an "unborn person" at the time of the adoption of the Constitution. And if the the Constitution applies to us, then it applies to unborn persons.__Pretty simple logic. Wonder why SCOTUS didn't get it?

Leave the poor President alone. He's got a lot of golf to make up.
