This is good to know. As a new reader of your work (only two weeks ago, I strolled in and read Broodhollow from the beginning and got hooked) I'm not opposed to going back and reading your other works but I would not like to feel obligated.

A piece should be able to stand entirely on its own. Allusion or direct reference to other material, either your own or from another creator, should only enhance a work. It should not be the crutch that carries it along.
