I'd be careful - if you're using secure browsing, and you go to their Facebook page in Firefox, you get a security certificate warning. Apparently, the cert for textonly.in is self-signed. Probably harmless, but something to keep in mind when you're trusting your feed to them. :)

It's more than just friends -- it looks like a friends-of-friends list. I have 183 friends -- and 745 names on the Facebook Friends script report. I'm actually looking over the list to see if there are potential new FB friends on it... :)

I won't.

If Simmons is comparing himself, or his misfit band of oddball writers, to Grantland Rice, he's in desperate need of ego-reduction surgery.

I like Simmons as a snarky sportswriter (even though he can be a blowhard).

I don't know if I want to read Simmons' take on issues outside sports, nor do I necessarily need a website born in his image.

That said, I'll probably check it out. And I can't wait for FJM or KSK to take Grantland.com apart, piece by piece...

It looks like the parser simply looks for the letters in correct order, regardless of what's between them... so "i BAthed KEanu Reeves" becomes BAKER. It must've taken quite a few games to get all of the right answers, and time to construct the longer joke answers. Points for creativity, if not for time management... :)

Hellcats is a CW television series. It airs Wednesday nights at 8 e/p.

And while Aly Michalka is hot, she's (1) extremely Christian and (2) a terrible actress. Neither of which will stop her from a Hollywood career, of course... :)

If this works, I wouldn't be surprised to see the ESPNEWS brand tossed and the channel rebranded as SportsCenter. Having two brand names for the same basic idea is silly -- and SportsCenter has 31 years of history behind it.

Then they need to figure out what to do with ESPN Classic... ESPN4, anyone? :)
