I didn't watch last year's season, but after reading online reviews of the show, I'll have to start tonight. Thanks for the synopsis.
In my experience since 2000, the year that massive voter fraud was began in Wisconsin, the effort of the fraudsters was negligible in non-presidential elections. The Left just didn't seem to care enough about midterm elections, to put together enough people willing to commit voter fraud. I remember very little claims of fraud in 2002 or 2006, but MANY in 2004 and 2008. Here's what I believe -- the enthusiasm on the Left is far less than on the Right this year. In Wisconsin, this allows us to get a Conservative Republican in the Governor's office, and Republican legislature in the state House -- enough to pass voter ID laws -- in time for the 2012 election. This will be a huge step in curbing vote fraud in Wisconsin.
This is my prayer every day. May God make it be so.
We are engaged. We are fired up! Don't let the Marxists fool you into suspending elections. It won't work. They'll lose BIG.
Linda -- I turned 18 in 1978, so my first Presidential election was voting for Ronald Reagan in 1980. The mood of the country was difficult to see then, because the network news was all Democrat-leaned. I do remember the newscasters remarking that Reagan was a "B-actor", acted in movies such as "Bedtime for Bonzo" about a chimp. What they were missing then was how miserable the people were under Jimmah Cattah, and how Ronald Reagan was so optimistic, he made a young adult in Wisconsin feel happy about who would be in the White House after November 1980. I voted for him, and again in 1984.
Now, as a proud supporter of another optimistic politician, Sarah Palin, I really believe that she is the hope that helps wake Americans up, by putting conservatives in Congress in 2010. If she runs for President in 2012, I will enthusiastically support her. I truly see her as a repeat of Ronald Reagan -- who went to Ureka College in IL, not Harvard or Yale.
That is the conclusion I came to, years ago, after September 11th. I read that Muhammad's wife (or, rather the original one) talked him into believing that he was being spoken to by a god called Allah, rather than what he feared -- that he was posessed by Satan. I think, Muhammad had it right the first time. He was posessed by Satan. There is no other explanation to a religion that ENCOURAGES it's followers to lie to 'infidels', to kill 'infidels', to destroy all monuments to other religions during 'Jihad', to perform genital mutilations on girls, to stone women to death who have been raped, or have been caught in adultery, and to honor yourself by committing suicide while killing others, getting a reward for it in 'heaven' -- 72 virgins.
This is not a religion of peace. It's a religion of death, of Satan.
This is a woman who, despite the ridicule, just continues to fight...happily. For those of you that says she has no experience -- don't embarrass yourselves. This woman began on a city council, then was a mayor for two terms. Then in the Murkowski administration, was appointed to be the Governor's Oil and Gas Commissioner for Alaska -- a position that requires her to learn the ins and outs of the energy business, and deal with CEOs and boards of those businesses. When she saw corruption between those oil and gas employees and the politicians in the Murkowski administration, she resigned her position (yes, she has done it before) and then blew the whistle on the corruption. She became Governor, and passed huge ethics legislation, in order to prevent any future administration from being corrupted. Then, she passed a huge law to give the citizens of Alaska profit-sharing of oil and gas revenues, in exchange for being allowed to drill on public lands.
This is a woman of integrity and truth. She's a fighter, and has more experience fighting the 'powers that be' than anyone in politics today. Get the word out.
I have been saying that the "ruling class" and the elite propaganda Media of today MIRROR the reaction to Ronald Reagan in the late '70s FOR TWO YEARS NOW. I'm old enough to remember, and old enough to see how the Media in 2004 seems to have changed their tune regarding Reagan. I DO remember how stunned Tom Brokow seemed, to the hundreds of thousands of Americans that lined the highways to watch the motercade pass through their part of the country. We loved him as our President.
I see the SAME thing regarding Sarah Palin. The same ridicule. The same disdain for a happy spirit. Notice how all the "ruling class" politicians look down their noses, and proclaim that she's an angry, bigoted person, who would want to jail women who get abortions! Noooo. She never said such a thing...And have you seen very many pictures where she's NOT SMILING?
Thank you for that. Those people were bright, wonderful and patriotic. It just goes to show you that the NYT and MSDNC are just trying to DIVIDE us. Go tea party patriots!!
I don't know about that. Wasn't Allen West in one of the districts that voted for McCain/Palin? I think Sarah endorsed him on Facebook too. I know about the Facebook, but unsure if he's in one of the 20 "target" districts.
