This is so beautifully written. You are a great mom! I had a similar situation about breastfeeding. We found out that my daughter had PKU soon after she was born so they wanted me to stop breastfeeding and it had only been 3 weeks. I felt like the worst mother ever. Especially since I had been so gung ho crazy about breastfeeding. But now my almost 5 year old is an amazingly smart and talented little girl and it makes me feel good.
