I read Flory's article and in the first sentence she uses the term 'bogeyman' for sex offenders. The only time I've seen that reference is at a pro-pedo site. Maybe it was a slip, but when someone compares child molesters and rapists to the imaginary monster in the closet, I'm not particularly inclined to take that person seriously.

Rob, you make good points as far as convicted criminals not being allowed to do certain things, especially those things which may enable the type of crime they've committed in the past. I don't see why this should be any different, except in the eyes of those who feel sorry for the poor, poor sex offender.
