I feel exactly the same way about my waitressing job. I really can't stand being a server, but I'm good at it and it pays the bills. It's so easy to keep doing what's familiar, especially when the things I really want to do, like make a living traveling somehow or becoming a professional concert photographer, are so far out of my comfort zone and seem so unrealistic and impossible. I feel a pressing need to DO something, but I know how you feel - what if I fail?! I think it might take some more time before I'm really ready to take the leap and put myself out there. At least we're working towards that moment though!

Hey Nikki! How unbelievable! I can't even imagine getting a call like that, just when you were finally at peace with moving on. I just want to tell you, this post saved my day yesterday. I was having a totally craptastic day at my waitressing job and just feeling all out down about life. On my break I decided to check out the new post on Stratejoy and it really turned around my day. I didn't feel so alone anymore. While our struggles and frustrations are different, I can seriously relate to the feelings of frustration and inadequacy. Thank you for sharing :)

Vanessa, 24, moved to New York City a year ago to pursue her acting career. Thinks she hit her QLC right around when she graduated from college at 23 with degrees in theater and art history.
