I used to TEACH law enforcement classes at a 2-yr college in Texas. (Over 30 years ago now.) I taught those classes from the perspective of someone who spent 7 years as a "street cop", starting out in traffic enforcement and eventually becoming chief of detectives so I KNEW what being on the street was like. Two things I emphasized in EVERY class--regardless of the class' subject. (1) Police are ENFORCEMENT officers. They are paid to find and arrest lawbreakers...period. The punishment phase of the system is conducted by the COURTS. A "chewing out" is PUNISHMENT and OUTSIDE of the purview of the arresting officer. You treat EVERY suspect with courtesy (tempered by ONLY the amount of force necessary to subdue them if they resist being arrested--which occasionally does happen.) You NEVER issue a "chewing out." That's not your job. If one is warranted, the JUDGE will issue it...NOT the officer. (2) You HAVE to resist the understandable temptation to view EVERYONE who's not an LEO as a potential burglar or rapist or murderer. Socialize with those OUTSIDE of law enforcement. Do NOT limit yourself in social contacts to other LEO's. If you do that, developing a "we vs them" attitude is inevitable and from that attitude comes the eventual "I'm always right and you're always wrong" attitude that eventually gets you, AND the public you're supposed to be serving, at loggerheads and yourself in a civil court defending a lawsuit...which neither you nor the political entity that employs you can afford.

You can be CHARGED with a felony without a Grand Jury indictment. You can only SELDOM be TRIED for a felony without one...unless you choose to plead guilty without an indictment. Chances are this "prosecutor" realized that he'd NEVER get an indictment and that's why charges were dropped.

You simply CANNOT reason with someone for whom rational thought is a foreign concept and you can't "compromise" with someone for whom the word means, "Do it MY way, or hit the road." The left is in no way "reasonable" nor "rational." "FACTS" are foreign to them and merely get in the way of their ideology. They are only there to be used when they favor the ultimate goals OF the left....which is seldom...otherwise discarded--or ignored. These people MUST be defeated and removed from positions of responsibility...and that includes such RINOS as Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham and John McCain, all three of whom should be run out of D.C. on the proverbial rail.

True. Ghetto blacks, for example, insisted that the tests were designed so as to NOT fit into their worldview and the questions didn't relate to the "black experience"...which was (and is) nonsense. Knowing what an "alley apple" is, doesn't make one intelligent--merely one with a vocabulary that is wildly different from that of the rest of society.

Far be it for me to defend ANY of the idiot Democrats in Congress, but I wouldn't doubt what this guy has to say about Emmanuel's tactics in the slightest. These people are the epitome of EVIL and they're out to literally destroy the greatest country and political system on the planet for their own, selfish purposes. Every one of 'em needs to be tarred and feathered, as far as I'm concerned.
