Android seems to get more of the "early adopter" users whereas Iphone is a more conservative choice from a software reliability standpoint. Stated another way, if you need it to work all the time, you get an Iphone. If you prefer the wild west where you fix it yourself, you get Android.

I seem to be missing something here. When i view the site in iPhoney (on a macbook pro) I can click on the movie titles and it takes me to a description page but i see no way to actually view the trailer
It's pretty normal over here. It wouldn't do well without it.

The only obstacle I see is power/amplification. Your proposed setup would require each individual speaker, no matter how large or small, to have it's own amplification source (normally provided by receiver). This makes each speaker slightly heavier and more expensive than it normally is.
actually, wouldn't it be great to be able to stream your music from the ipod over wifi to my airport express stations? Oh, and of course open up the mediasources on my mac, making them accesseable for the ipod
