Thanks Deb. It's taken me a few days to try out the beads (they take 8 hours to soak and a few other missions meant it didn't get done until today). I might just say if you're looking for those beads, don't pay anymore than $3.00 for a packet. I saw some priced at $10.00 but the $2.50 ones I brought worked a treat. My 20month old was contained for a good half hour. Well worth a play, I also put in some lavender oil as they were purple for a bit of extra sensory stimulus.

Beautiful idea. We have used in the sensory tubs beads, cake/muffin/patty tins, and that shiny green stuff you can buy at cheap stores that's like stringy and sparkly it makes for great textures - plus just normal old rice. These elements all washed in together make great sounds. I've just bought some of those expanding water pearl beads to try out on the Little Mister today - thanks for the tips :) Have a great day....

Great Post Gemma. Finding the balance and being organic (nearly wrote orgasmic by accident ha) is indeed tough. I think you've eloquently worded and thought about the notions of organic verse mechanic. Knowing our motivations and not our obligations is the key I think also.

Thank you HFM :) I'm learning to let go of this - finding and investing time in me and the family is so absolutely important. I love how you phrase it 'grasp the moments that matter'. I think this is the ticket to success to, scaling down my interactions. I've actually been thinking to have a stop watch once the experiment is over and use it as a limited time thing - not sure how to allow it back in really, small doses of course. I'm wondering if it will be self regulated or I can monitor my own behaviour and work out the times I'm feeling impacted by the negativity. Conversely, can I say you are spot on about feeling happier - I'm finding there are moments where I'm not caught up in the negativity and that feels great. I have certainly found in my moments of 'check in' that I became the person I don't want to be. Change is hard and accepting that it is ok not to be in that space is really hard. Have you some tips on how you keep your social media that is facebook down - do you use a timer? or self regulate? I would love it if you could share your tips..... Thank you for stopping by and thank you for helping me on my pathway....it's not easy feeling like your navigating against something that is such a negative force.

hello ms bell swinger :) hope the bell swinging is going ok...BMOC said we're getting under way today, suffice to say the wet weather has played a little havoc with the intent to get out and get out swing on! I'm glad that I'm not going completely cuckoo with reference the sugar and taste :) oooo creamy coconut potato....yum....I know the organic chicken was cheap as...That's why I thought go for it...universe obviously is having it's way with us and ordering us a special serve of 'get fit and healthy now'....No worries on the meal planner (i agree i've always done a planner but can often drift especially with unexpected events that pop up or laziness) but I figure it's all done and I just need to commit but be ok with wavering every now and then. 80/20 rule. There are loads of recipes in there that are super tasty (salmon chowder/roast turkey/fish meals and even BMOC who dislikes PORK immensely has enjoyed the two pork dishes on the menu. They're simple yet uber tasty....the only thing that takes time is the prepping of the veges. But short of that the combinations of spices and condiments surely have made for super dooper tasty !!! Would love to hear what your thoughts are on some of the recipes and keeping us posted on your adventures :) thanks for stopping in CTM :)

My beautiful, beautiful friend...thank you, your words are spot on...it is the grief of the 'last' with the last child. It is the unknown after the familiar. Throwing out the sippy cups - the car seat they're def. not silly at all - they're those markers that connect us to a phase of life that tells us how far they've come and yet how far we've got to go (well I keep thinking that in the light of the last two days) and again you reinforce and accentuate the positive as much as the :`( fall and the heart breaks the bond isn't broken it is as it was meant to be a mumma sending her bonnie babe on the next phase of his journey in life....it is only my 'nurturing' quality of this mumma phase that is changing - I still have to 'nurture' him just in a different way..... thank you for reminding me of that.....I guess at the end of the day it's change and we're all afraid of change, the unknown :) Thank you <3 to the moon and back! Thank you. I honestly appreciate your kindness and thoughts. It is such a sad time indeed. I've welled a few times - trying hard to take me out of the equation tho. As that's just my ego but just knowing that it's a phase of life that is over is terribly sad. I'm just going to embrace the new phase as best I can. I'm glad you and Summer are enjoying the feeds and remembering how important those moments are.....those snuggles are just pricelss! Thanks for commenting :) big hugs to you and little Sum.

Thank you Paula. It is true. I missed it terribly and am super glad you still do it at your home and you're right the notions of having a family meal together that is healthy family meal is so heartwarming and comforting. My favourite roast is Pork only for the crackling! However I don't mind a bit of mint sauce with the Lamb either !!! We tend to do a corn roast more than anything because it's a slow cooker meal. It is just nice having a big family meal and the leftovers for lunch....WOWZERS Yummo :) I'm super glad I dusted it off too....looking forward to this Sunday now!

Thank you - I\'m chuffed with it (as is BSP), as Icehouse once proclaimed \'anything is possible in this world\' and in so many ways I\'m really grateful to pinterest and it giving the possibilities to make something that is such a true reflection of my BSP but also the notions that it will stand the test of time *hopefully* for future generations or even for BSP2 who is/will be getting married in the next year or two! Thanks for stopping by really appreciate the pinterest sharing, some great ideas have been shown from other linkers :)
