Wow Nellie, I stumbled onto this from Lonely Planet and I'm so glad I did!! You are living my dream of becoming a travel writer and it is really really inspiring to read your blogs.

I hail from the same part of the world (born in SG, bred in Hong Kong), have lived in the UK for a while and will be studying in Spain for a year starting this October. Judging by the parallels I think our paths may actually cross sometime in the near future. :) All the best and happy travelling!
