I drove off a cliff once, and had to climb back up the cliff after the accident to get help. I only had one stitch (I think they had to do SOMETHING before they released me from the hospital, is the only reason I got that stitch).

I've always called it luck. You're really making me see it for what it was, but I'm too frightened to admit. It's too big... It's awesome. Thank you for sharing

When you see the world differently, on a bigger (eternal scale), things look different. When you see things from the level of this world, it all looks bad. That being said:

My pastor used to say Deuteronomy 25:11-12, which they wouldn't get until they looked it up later and realized they were punked:
NASB - "If two men, a man and his countryman, are struggling together, and the wife of one comes near to deliver her husband from the hand of the one who is striking him, and puts out her hand and seizes his genitals, then you shall cut off her hand; you shall not show pity."

He and his friends would find the strangest verses they could, just for the purpose of answering the life verse question. :D

Wild at Heart and Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge. Changed my life and challenged me, but I can't get anyone else to read them, and some people I talk to have an ENTIRELY different take away from what the books meant than I did!
