One minute she wants to be with Leo, then the next she’s fighting her feelings for ex-fiance. This story’s been said and done and frankly, we didn’t need all this mixed feeling nonsense in the middle. We should’ve seen more of Leo and Paige’s back story and struggles the couple face while trying to reconstruct her memories. It would’ve been much more of a realistic touch than how the film eventually plays out.

So, in other words, her character is just like her character in "The Notebook". She got whiny and annoying and flip-flopped all over the place in that story as well.
She got engaged, saw a picture of her ex, lied to her fiance, went to see her ex, cheated on her fiance with her ex, then the next morning tells her ex that she's going back to her fiance and then whines that things are so difficult to figure out.
Despite that, the guy puts up with all her nonsense. At least in this movie, there's a good reason for the guy to put up with her nonsense, because he made "the vow" of marriage. But in "The Notebook", BOTH guys should have dumped Rachel McAdams character.

They talk about Detroit being some kind of example of the country "working together" and "coming back"? In what alternate universe is that true? I've lived here since 1999 and it is no where near "coming back". Not to mention, I have not seen anything about Detroit where Detroiters are "working together". Quite the opposite, in fact. All the Detroiters and those whom Detroiters elect to office do is whine about racism and accuse anyone of racism who offers to help fix Detroit.
The city and its schools are still dungholes and failing. And what commercial did I see locally here about Detroit? Some whining commercial from the Ambassador Bridge builders union or some such complaining about Governor Snyder.
Chrysler would be wise to stop associating itself with Detroit, since Detroit is a complete dunghole no where near "coming back" and has no interest "working together". The unions control the City and racism infests the population.
There is nothing about Detroit that should be used as example to America of anything. Chrysler should stick to giving itself props for turning things around. Because if people associate Chrysler with the dunghole that is Detroit, Chrysler's turnaround is doing to drive right into a ditch.

What did not help *Romney* was his response to that disaster: saying that "oooh looks like we had good job numbers and the economy is turning around!" That right there showed people that Romney had not a clue what he's talking about.

Exactly. This is funny as a side-story in a film or as a laugh line, but not as the main theme of a movie. Women acting like crass guys is not funny, it's just... crass.

I wish I could remember where I saw the interview, but I believe it was with January Jones of "Mad Men" fame. She was talking about advice that she received from some famous actor or actress. The advice was that the key to being a good actress, she should give as few interviews as possible and reveal as little as possible about her personal life. This way, the audience could find her character portrayals genuine and believable, because they would only know her as her characters and not have her personal life info in the back of their minds when watching her on screen.
If only most actors/actresses followed this advice.

Matt Damon uses his money and his celebrity influence to undermine everything about this country. Therefore, anyone who goes to see his movies, gives him more money and more celebrity influence to undermine this country.
I don't give a hot damn how good the movie is. If there are actors within the movie who are undermining my nation, I am NOT going to support their efforts. PERIOD.
I could care less if Hollywood goes bankrupt and never makes another movie ever again. I could care less about the survival of Hollywood and whether or not they make the right movies. I care about the survival of my country. And when people go to movies where those involved are actively working to destroy the country, they are assisting their efforts.
This could be the best Christian movie ever made in the history of the world. I.don't.care. Matt Damon will simply turn around and use the money and success from the movie to further push his America-hating influence in this nation.
Would people argue that we are to go see a pro-Christian movie put out by Michael Moore, when we know that he would turn around and use the profits from the movie to undermine the nation? No, they wouldn't. The same applies to Matt Damon and the rest of the socialist filth in Hollywood.

But, no, I don't write movie *reviews* based on trailers and actors. I use them to determine whether or not I think the movie is worth my money and my time.

This seems to be exactly the opposite. It seems that Damon is mocking Christianity and is insisting that the Christian God is a dictator and there is no such thing as Free Will.
Of course, since Damon is an atheist, he doesn't believe in the existence of God. So this is just a movie to insult the belief in Christianity, basically saying that anyone who is a Christian believes in a God who is a dictator Who denies people of Free Will.
