It 's the morally impoverished people, stupid, not the knives or guns or forks or bats!

I am from the East coast and from the days before air conditioners were the norm. That humidity could be a real bummer but I miss the sun and although the heat was hard at times, you jumped in a pool or went to the beach -- in the sun. I am settled here and have a beautiful garden but I do yearn for the sun and sustained warmth. Not too hot -- 87-88, sometimes over 90 is what I think of as summer. I will have to move when I get older.

Dumb is the new enlightened state for liberals.

Insanity is fatiquing. From the organic delusion to the global warming night terrors, it is hard to follow such lunacy for too long, especially when the propagandists are shown to be arrogant elitist priests that want to rob you blind, while they follow other rules -- and get richer. Add to this the exposed lies, and you have the seeds of a quick collapse.

I was very fortunate in my return to college days in the 1990's. I was at the University of Washington in the Comparative Religion dept of the Jackson School for International Studies. The professors I had in that department were just astoundingly dedicated to good scholarship and academic integrity. Unfortunately, the standards seem to have deteriorated generally in academia since then and we are stuck with far too many political shills parading as objective academic investigators. I never thought I would become so negative and pessimistic towards this country or the civilized world but when one wakes up and becomes a conservative, you can only be taken aback by the lack of integrity and honesty that overflows in the liberal intelligentsia. So sad.
