One of your advertisers, swipebids.com, is a bidding scam. Techcrunch did a story about this sort of scam a few months ago. You should remove them.

Exactly. What makes things worse: Motorola doesn't update their devices (except Droid, the one exception). So when you buy the 1.5 Cliq... you're stuck with it. And you can't even manually upgrade because they've locked it down.

The dirty secret is that the mobile web is currently just as fragmented as these various proprietary platforms.

Advice: .TV domains are going to be big in the coming years, but only those that are easy to navigate on the television. Techcrunch.tv is not. Uses javascript onmouseover events in menu navigation (which floats over the flash embed, yuck), with small icons, and no way to turn the Live feed into full screen.

Check out Clicker.tv for an example of how tv-friendly websites CAN be. Get on board with this, and you'll be one of the first to do so.

True, but creating niche apps that are used by 1% of the total internet population is not the smart answer. Make separate websites for mouse devices (desktops, laptops), remote control devices (televisions), mobile, and touch screens. That pretty much covers your basis for current and future users.

When will Apple enter the cloud space (for real, not .me)? I give Microsoft for at least realizing that their future won't exist without the cloud, and are trying to do something.

Every phone OS has fragmentation.
