This is an awesome post. A long time fan raving about her experience at a Weezer show.... fucking a, Joy... fucking A!

And you got to meet Rivers, too. Meeting a band member of a band you like is pretty damn cool. Especially at the Vegas show.

I've only seen Weezer once (in Salt Lake back in 2008) and they put on such a great show. Lots of energy.

I felt bad that you were sick during your week off. Your easter sounds like it was great.. good friends, good food and good times.

Things here are ok. Heading to Vegas for 3 days next week (trade show for personal projects).

That's pretty low miles for an '06. The pics you posted on twitter look like it's a decent car.

I understand the change and how hard it is. I'm always optimistic, but there's several things that have been going on for years in my life that have eroded that on several levels. I complain more, i bitch more about stuff, quick to complain. I've been trying to make improvements to reduce it, like not letting the bad shit I have to deal with at work get me stressed. I roll with the changes more and not let them affect me personally. It's not easy... it's fucking hard at times since I want to rant, but at the same time, it's taken away from the things that I want to do in my life.

Sorry to ramble, but I do understand where you are coming from.

Hoping the car is a nice ride for you for the years you have it.

Love this podcast. The first with both you and rani in the same room. And despite the bad news of the car and the phone, it sounds like all of your other Vegas adventures were fun.

I never get flu shots. I think the last time i got one was well over 20 years ago. I don't remember if it helped or not. I do more with antioxidants like coffee, tea and these little pills called grapefruit seed extract. Between all of these, I rarely get sick anymore, with maybe just a week of cold symtoms.

Vegas is a month away. w00t

Yeah, me too. The frustration levels are getting hard to deal with. I need a nice break from working for idiots.

My last trip to D-land was in Oct of last year and while it had some drama that I could have done without, it was pretty fun. I want to go back again soon now that Star Tours is open again with the new changes.

Random Duran Duran is always a good thing.

Distractions are a large part of why I don't do much in the way of my growing list of personal projects these days... especially so in the last 20 months. I blame my day job, but in the end, I have control over how I spend my time. YouTube, web news pages, music, sunshine, drinking... lots of fun stuff, but I want to do more.

Since I follow you on twitter, I see your visits to D-Land and the Weezer shows you've been to this summer. Hope your return to work/school this week won't bring too much crapola.

I've not read Stardust before. The Sandman series by Gaiman is really good (and it's on a banned books list, too)
