It's not a surprise that voters generally trust Democrats for social issues, especially after the reign of King George I. Corporatism is on the fast track in America, and the "other" 90% are paying a very high tariff for it. There is a general feeling that it is the "little guy's turn". Politics can only go so far as the pendulum swings, after all. It looks like your poll is a pretty reasonable sample of the cross-section.
