I think it's because she may actually be somewhat normal, subsequently not making for "good" tv. The first episode she told Ben that trying to "steal" him and fight for his attention wasn't something she's comfortable with.

I always watch her in every scene. Fingers crossed that she's as normal as I want her to so badly be. Doubtful--because if she was, she would have headed for the hills long ago...

my thoughts:

fantastic, as per usual. I started to read this in the library at the high school & had to stop after 5 seconds.

*matt nathanson is wonderful. I hate that he sold-out to play for ben and his bimbo. I hate that neither of them knew who he was. for a show about love, it brings out a lot of hatred within me.
*monica was crying when the rose was given out on the group date. I had to rewind to confirm. yes, she was crying.
*also, when Shawntel first walked in. 90% of the girls were so self-absorbed, they did not even notice.
*"what's-her-butt" was my favorite moment of the episode. such a vast vocabulary these women have and they aren't afraid to wield it. I appreciate that.
*Ben is the Geico Cave Man. That is all. Oh, and I bought your book the day it came out. Because I'm obsessed like that.
