Please don't ask why I'm browsing here 4 weeks later (I love Toast OTs, so...), but I live just north of Indy and would love to make more friends. I just moved here almost a year ago, and making friends isn't easy!

I work at a preschool, and sometimes they put out those little packets of saltine crackers in the entryway. So, of course, every kid wants crackers, and I swear the parents must hate us, because they leave so many darn crumbs! Even big kids (a.k.a. myself) cannot eat them without making a huge mess! Yay crumbs on their minivan floors.

My dad usually considers himself an expert on navigating a city once he's spent at least 5 hours there. I swear, I was living in Spain for 3+ years and he tried to tell me how best to get to another point in a city I lived in and he didn't!

I want to know if anyone gets into those competitions, because I can see that working for me ... I am the type to feel competitive about most things, so if I'm at the gym I will run longer than if I'm by myself.

Yeah, and our center is actually looking to up our license to NAEYC, a more prestigious and well-recognized one than we have now. I have a review coming up (or I am supposed to), so I think I might mention it then.

I like this approach! It is so true; I am so over covering for her. Once or twice, okay, but every single week? And she was chosen to go home early on NYE while I stayed and closed. Ugh!

Writing 400,000 words of anything is great! I need to write more this year.

I managed to wade through the sludge that is the marriage visa process and get my husband and me to the U.S.! And get jobs! And a car. You know, establish ourselves. So I hope 2016 is a bit less eventful, ha.
