If you consider Pages, Numbers, iCal, Mail and Address Book sufficient for work you most likely don't do much work in the first place, so I'd go Apple or Free as well. And if the wording on the front of the box confused you as to what to buy then you just took a wrong turn down the wrong software aisle.
