Going with your dates for the millennial gen (which are slightly off), the youngest of them are 14 years old in 2014. To me that makes claims such as "1 in 10 make over $100,000" hard to believe. Someone's pulling numbers out of some dark hole. #Don'tBelieveTheHype. And read Strauss & Howe.

Fascinating. In 1985, I graduated with a degree in a self-created field: Culture & Technology, with a minor in women's studies. Through a fluke of a fluke of a fluke with a healthy dose of synchronicity, I found myself working for a newly created National Association of Women in Communications Industries org (me and the ED, that is) and by "work" I mean volunteering FT. NAWCI was, I believe, the first organization for women in high tech. I wasn't, per se, from the field. More interested in then -- and still now -- in culture change.

There was pretty much nothing then about women and technology. Fascinating, lovely and awesome to see/witness/experience such a change.

Cool. I think the book will be right up your alley. And if you don't want to read the whole book, the "cliff notes" PDF isn't a bad route to take.

Heard of Millennials in the Workplace? Latest book by Neil Howe, who coined the term "Millennials" well over a decade ago with his co-writer, Bill Strauss. Cliff notes and cheat sheet here: http://www.lifecourse.com/assets/files/Millennial... I think you'll enjoy it! And, yes, in full disclosure, I work with the author. He's my intellectual super hero!
