Why should a person be forced to pay for something they don't want?

But, unless the State is Righ to Work, they can be forced to pay (some) dues. Where is the freedom to choose to not give money to an organization?B

It would allow all workers, even if they are already under a union to not be in a union.

This helps working people. It gives them options. It allows them to take more money home instead of giving it to unions they don't support.

No one is saying private unions don't have a right to exist. The bill would allow workers to withhold funding for them if they want to.

Having at least some of them in jail would be best for society.

What about allowing a three judge panel to review the evidence protected by shield laws, etc? They'd have full access to confidential sources, etc, and would be bound to secrecy until they make their ruling, and would be bound by that afterwards. They could decide whether a source should remain confidential, whether the information is accurate, etc.
