When I receive real long emails, I'll skim through to see what its about. If I'm interested I'll read it closer.

Several things, I never open FWD: emails unless they are from my wife. I don't need to send an email to 9 others to be blessed, nor do I need to receive one.

As a sender, I'll write an email then review it several minutes later, especially if it is critical in nature. Once it's sent it's sent.

I am in agreement. I had a similar upbringing and my Mother encouraged me to read. I am not a neurosurgeon, but have become successful in my own right. No school could have provided the education that books have given me.

As for technology, e-books are here and we need to embrace them as a delivery system as you say. Maybe there is a place for multimedia in books. Children's books can use this to keep the kids entertained while they learn to read. Self-help books may be able to use short video clips to help explain a topic that may be difficult using only words. As for fiction, books in their current state are perfect, let the reader use their own imagination.

Your degree is only a stepping stone and does not guarantee your success. Learning is a lifelong process and the hard work has only just begun. Take a few days to set meaningful goals and develop a game plan to reach them. Good things happen to those who are patient and understand God's timing.

We'll be praying for you. Our family experienced a similar tragedy in Houston two years ago.

Great Post. Not only must we be accountable to others, we need to be accountable to ourselves. Watching a marriage disintegrate is tough. My first wife and I were not yoked together and this ultimately lead to our divorce. Grace be to God, I have remarried and we have the same values and ideals. We work on our mutual accountability.

Jon, we'll be praying for you. God Bless!
