And lets not forget that its still a horribly designed OS that pays no attention, what-so-ever, to little details that make huge differences when put together.

IBM predicts that in the next 3-5 years smartphones/tablets will be used primarily by businesses, and that is likely. And its also likely that MS, with Windows 8/Windows Phone 7.x, will be front and center of all of this at that point in time.

Its amazing that WP7 has only been out for 4 weeks and everybody is screaming failure because nothing on sales has been reported, again, Google didn't even talk about Android success until far after the Droid was released, those guys went a year without saying anything on Androids success and everybody who wrote them off suddenly forget that they did so later on.
Get a grip of reality, people.

If you wanna talk about issues that MS has, its that they sometimes dont push hard enough when it comes to products that may have great potential. The Zune players are a classic example, but the Zune is going beyond that now, as is the whole market for MP3 players. I think its all about the people running the product team, you need people who have vision and are willing to push the executives to follow through on something, the WP7 team have those kinds of people.
