I love the way you said that - reverent the past by being relevant to the future. That says it all.

I missed the fact that you're moving to Alaska for awhile!

Ya know - God put desires in our hearts for a reason. But I've also seen Him take things that I thought I would love to do with my life, tweak them, sift them, and shift them to be used by Him in a cooler way. Just stay open and if you're willing to be used - He will definitely use you.

By the way - it's Dionna posting. I don't know why it keeps showing up as "innerfulfillment" which is my team blog!

I tend to be somewhat random too. I can totally go off-subject to another subject but then when I realize I've strayed - I try to bring it back 'round. :)

People used to tell me my 6 yr old stepson looked like me. My husband said "God planned it that way. " :)

Well-said. I've been working overtime lately to try and rebuke the "comparison" game that tries to enter into my heart and soul. No one ever wins with it.

Bianca -
It's been a joy to discover your blog these past few months and to get to chat with you from time to time. I just wanted to let you know that I mentioned you on my blog today. Thanks for letting God speak through you!
My blog is at http://beautyinthestorm.blogspot.com - not the one listed. That's a team blog. :) ~ Dionna

I'm sorry. I admire your perspective and renewed drive but I'm still sorry. And if I were there I would have lent you a shoulder and a hug. :)

For me, I try to keep the rule of "don't cause a brother to stumble." I keep that in mind in how I dress and also that I'm a representative of the Lord. That being said, I do think a Christian woman can be feminine and beautiful. I don't need to be prudish; I can be trendy but as I do so be selective so as not to expose areas of myself that would demean my reputation and words as I speak on behalf of God.
