The purpose of focusing on fixing this is to ensure that whenever new contributors have verification emails sent, they get there, and those contributors are able to log in without intervention by a superadmin. Please share all onboarding stories to make sure we get there. :)

Turns out Embedly, the plugin we were using for maximum embeddability, isn\'t 3.0-compatible yet. But 3.0 has better embedding capabilities... so... yay?
