I just read her Wiki page. I can't this is always the case, but often, if a person in the public is a conservative, they list "controversies" but didn't see anything about her Communist ties. Good work in uncovering. I believe Pres. Obama is a at least a socialist & the media kept that under wraps so not sure if I have much hope for MSM to shed light on this.
This group considers themselves to be "The Democratic Socialists of America" & a big part of the "Occupy" movement in my community.
People want to accuse Andrew Bretbart and others of doctoring audios/video & it's a crock because this stuff really does happen. This group is a branch off Acorn & this stuff is vey real & happening all over. Again, I'm astounded by their arrogance in assuming rules & policies do not apply to them. They've been allowed to do as they please, for years, in some of the public schools in my community. I will no longer remain silent.
No, they told him they would be discussing "labor laws" & it was a lot more than that, as the principal could hear on the audio. I'm not sure how one couldn't tell just by reading the flyer that it was going to more than labor laws, but I'm guessing he didn't read the flyer closely. I read it immediately & knew it was leftist propaganda. He didn't approve for the flyers to be sent home with the students so when I told him that one came home with my child, he wasn't happy, although he did approve it to be posted on the front doors. The woman, whose name was on the flyers, is a public school employee, & I told him that she was using her position at the school to further her political agenda. She belongs to a very radical group & on the group's site, her bio says that she came here as an "undocumented worker." It seemed to me that on Monday, they left their anti-Wells Fargo sign on purpose. They had an "Occupy" protest that night & did a weird "zombie" skit. Strange.
In Oct, my son came home with a flyer, from his public elementary school, advertising an extremely political event that was going to be held at the school the following Sat. They also taped the flyer to the front doors of the school. It started out "Anti-immigration laws are plaguing our communities blah blah blah." My husband attended the event & said it was the most radical thing he's ever seen. They were anti-Kris Kobach, Anti-Wells Fargo, pro-illegal immigration, etc. They chanted Cesar Chavez slogans & left their protest sign for all the children to see when they arrived at school on Monday morning. I took it down & if there was a giant shredder nearby, it would have gone in that! They weren't truthful with the principal & he canceled their other events that were to be held at the school. These groups believe they have every right to further their political agenda, starting with elementary school children. Imagine if the Tea Party would have done the same thing. It would be all over the news!
You are incorrect when you say "did away with ALL the Indians." Were you born under a rock? My Native grandfather, spouse, & child would beg to differ with you on that comment.
That's why many hope to have Voter ID laws!

Excellent points, Brandon. I'm a former Socialist, who joined "Refuse & Resist" in the 90's. I never really did anything with the group, but spoke to the leader of the local branch several times. Bascially, I think he just enjoyed yelling at prolifers through his bullhorn. I'm astounded by the arrogance & ignorance of these groups. They believe they are representing & standing up for minorities. As I tell people, you can't look at everything through your white, liberal looking glass. This woman & her camp would make great Communists because in that world, power, wealth, luxury, etc is for the chosen few & it appears she fits in quite well.
